Las Vegas here we come

February 18, 2012 in Slideshow, Uncategorized

Exactly a month after New York, here we are: Las vegas on Valentine’s weekend.
Love Month, Love weekend and spreading Mishky Love one bracelet at a time.
The main surprise of the show was that not only we ventured the “other coast”, a market we are beginning to know and get acquainted to, but Mishky was bought for a chain of boutiques in Japan. YES, Japan.
Such an international success we didn’t expect, but we are profoundly grateful!

Mishky does NYC

February 18, 2012 in Uncategorized

The beginning of the year meant indeed a 180 degrees detour of Mishky’s popularity.
We decided it was time to kick off our expansion and presence in the US and to boost our confidence we got accepted at Accessories The Show. Our booth was entirely personalized and designed with lots of love, Mishky Love.
And it was love at first sight: we were invaded, swamped, thrilled, complimented and in awe.
The enthusiasm of the reception convinced us to give it a try to the next step: LAS VEGAS.

More on this later …

Our new collections, n.3: The ROWS

February 18, 2012 in Uncategorized

The “ROWS”

There’s always been a symbol, in silver or in beads, in every Mishky bracelet. The new popular line is called The Row and it is inspired by the colors connected to the seven Charkas, those point of light and energy aligned in our body that control every aspect of our life, physical and emotional.

“Color is Life” is what describes the collection the best. The colors are 7 and they each correspond to an area or Chakra and the benefits that they bring when they are active or the disadvantages if they are blocked.
The success of the line and the attractiveness of all the colors available cause the chain reaction of wanting every single color and stacking them all together.

Here is a taste of what each color and Chakra stands for:
1. Root Chakra Red for Earth.
2. Splenic Chakra Orange for Creativity.
3. Solar Plexus Chakra Yellow for Life Force.
4. Heart Chakra Green for Heart and Relationships.
5. Throat Chakra, Blue for Communication and Expression.
6. Third Eye Indigo for Intuition.
7. Crown Chakra, Purple for Divine Consciousness.

With Mishky Eco, Silver & Gold (Plated) and The Rows, Tita and Martha are truly manifesting their new year’s resolution of giving back to Nature and to people’s Spirituality.

Mishky goes ECO.

The art of glamorizing parts of soda cans and otherwise disposed-of rubber rings.“Mishky ECO”.
In a continuous effort of being environmentally conscious and “share Mishky love”, the company developed Mishky ECO, a capsule collection that finds inspiration in unusual micro elements that are disposed of on a daily basis by any common user, and repurposes them into enchanting and unique bracelets. Oddities like opening can lifts become the center decorative accent of beaded cuffs produced in three different widths. The often ignored rubber rings that come with glass bottles are rouched into resembling flowers and paired with semi precious stones. The line has its own eco-friendly packaging with instructions of care and a ribbon that visually describes the equation:

1 hour of work = 1 Mishky bracelet & 1 mom with her kids working from home.
